LESSON LEVELS
RIDING OUT
     
    BEGINNERS
From complete beginners until rising trot has been established and riding off the lead in the school.
    NOVICE
Developing the trot, learning diagonals, learning to canter. Trotting poles. Ready to ride out, when approved, on one hour treks.
    ADVANCED NOVICE
Riding with more polish and style, developing canter and learning half seat, use of half halt and rein effects. Preparation for jumping and jump small jumps(optional). Able to ride out on hacks and specials.
    NATURE WALKS
Riding out for half an hour at walk, on the leading rein if required.
    TREKS
One hour rides through the pinewoods for confident novice riders, able to control horse in rising trot and used to riding out.
    HACKS
One hour ride for riders competent and confident to canter outside of an arena and as a group. Two hour rides for the above who ride regularly and so are riding fit. Hack level riders can ride on the Specials.
